The Whole Warranty in 60 Seconds

If you read only this section, you'll know more about this warranty than most homeowners know about any roofing warranty they've ever signed.

  1. The treatment will work for 6 full years. Your treated shingles will measurably pass the Standardized Shingle Flexibility Test for a full 6 years from your Warranty Start Date. Objective, lab-defined standard — not our opinion.
  2. If it fails the test, we fix it — labor included. A Certified Genesis Roof Revive Applicator re-treats the affected area at our cost. You don't pay for product, labor, or lift.
  3. If re-treatment still doesn't work, we refund you on a published schedule. No negotiation. No surprises. The proration table is below.
  4. You have 60 days from the day you notice a problem to file a claim — double the industry standard.
  5. Your warranty transfers automatically with your home. Zero paperwork. Zero fees. Zero phone calls to us required.
  6. If we miss our own deadlines during your claim, you automatically get your refund. We hold ourselves accountable in writing.

1. Who This Warranty Covers

This warranty is between Genesis Roof Revive ("Genesis," "we," "us," "our") and the homeowner at the property address listed on the signed Pre-Treatment Inspection Report ("you," the "Homeowner").

It also covers:

  • Any subsequent owner of the same property for the unexpired portion of the original term (see Section 8 — Automatic Transferability).
  • Multi-family or multi-unit properties where the treated roof area is fully documented in the Pre-Treatment Inspection Report.

2. Your Warranty Term — A Flat 6 Years

Every qualifying Genesis Roof Revive treatment carries a flat 6-year warranty from your Warranty Start Date. No sliding scales. No age-based tiers. No small print that trims years off at the back end.

We keep it simple because the eligibility work happens up front: your roof either passes our Pre-Treatment Inspection — including the at least 60% granule coverage rule verified by the AI Granulation % Count — or we don't treat it and you don't pay. Once you pass, you get the full 6-year term. Period.

Your Warranty Start Date is printed on your Pre-Treatment Inspection Report.

3. What We Promise — The Objective Standard

We promise that, when applied by a Certified Genesis Roof Revive Applicator to a roof that passes our Pre-Treatment Inspection, the Fresh Roof treatment will keep your asphalt shingles measurably flexible for the full 6-year term, as defined by the Standardized Shingle Flexibility Test — the same objective industry test used across the roof-rejuvenation category.

A shingle "passes" the test when a sample taken from the treated area bends to the published industry benchmark without cracking. That is a measurable, reproducible, third-party-referable standard.

Our confidence in this promise is grounded in independent PRI (Polymer Research Institute) lab testing — the same lab panel used by major shingle manufacturers — confirming the Fresh Roof product's ability to restore and preserve asphalt-shingle flexibility. The PRI test documentation is published on our website for anyone to read.

We are not relying on vague language like "performs as represented" or "overall appearance." If your treated shingles pass the Flexibility Test, the warranty is doing its job. If they fail the test during your warranty term, we owe you a remedy. It is that simple.

4. What We Will Do If the Test Fails — Labor Is Included

If, during your warranty term, a Certified Genesis Roof Revive Applicator performs the Standardized Shingle Flexibility Test on your treated roof and the sample fails, we will, at our cost:

  1. Re-treat the failed area with fresh product, and
  2. Cover all labor and materials required to re-apply the treatment, provided the work is performed by a Certified Genesis Roof Revive Applicator.

You will not be billed for product, labor, travel, inspection, or administrative fees in connection with a covered re-treatment.

No other major rejuvenator in the United States covers labor on a re-treatment. We do. In writing. Right here.

5. If Re-Treatment Doesn't Work — The Published Proration Schedule

If we re-treat your roof under Section 4 and the shingles fail the Standardized Shingle Flexibility Test a second time within 180 days of the re-treatment, you are entitled to a prorated refund of the original treatment price paid, on the schedule below. No further argument. No further inspection beyond confirming the second failure.

Proration is calculated in equal monthly decrements over the full term of your warranty. Your exact monthly schedule is printed on your Pre-Treatment Inspection Report. The refund amount is based on the number of months elapsed between your Warranty Start Date and the confirmed second failure.

How the refund is calculated. Year 1 is always 100%. After Year 1, the refund decreases in equal monthly increments of approximately 1.39% per month, reaching zero at the end of month 72. The exact month-by-month number is printed on your Pre-Treatment Inspection Report so there is nothing to calculate later.

6. The Pre-Treatment Inspection — Your Eligibility Is Locked In Before You Pay

Most rejuvenation warranties quietly deny claims years later by pointing to "pre-existing conditions" that were never documented at the start. We don't do that.

Before we accept payment or apply product, a Certified Genesis Roof Revive Applicator performs and hands you a signed Pre-Treatment Inspection Report that includes, at minimum:

  • 6 or more dated photographs of the roof (at least one per elevation plus close-ups of representative shingles),
  • A measured granule coverage reading verified by our AI Granulation % Count — the eligibility baseline is at least 60% remaining granule coverage. The AI Granulation % Count is a photo-based software analysis independently benchmarked at 93–95% accuracy — materially more reliable than the human eye and more consistent than any visual-inspection method used elsewhere in this category,
  • A count of missing, cracked, or damaged shingles (the industry baseline is no more than 5 at the time of application),
  • Confirmation of shingle age (for our records and future-service planning),
  • Any required repairs identified before the price is quoted, so there are no "surprise" repair upsells later,
  • Both parties' signatures — yours and the applicator's — and a copy emailed to you and stored with Genesis corporate.

Once this report is signed, your eligibility is locked in. We cannot later come back and claim your roof was ineligible.

7. How to File a Claim — And the 60-Day Discovery Window

You have 60 calendar days from the date you first discover a potential issue to notify us. That is double the industry-standard 30 days used by literally every other major competitor. We chose 60 days because the old 30-day clock is the #1 reason category warranties get denied on a technicality — and we're not interested in winning on technicalities.

To file a claim:

  1. Send written notice (email is fine) to claims@genesisroofrevive.com with your property address and a short description of what you're seeing. Photos are appreciated but not required.
  2. We respond — see the SLAs in Section 9 below.
  3. A Certified Genesis Roof Revive Applicator schedules a diagnostic visit and performs the Standardized Shingle Flexibility Test on your treated roof. The AI Granulation % Count may also be run to support the diagnostic record.
  4. If the Flexibility Test fails: we schedule re-treatment (Section 4). If re-treatment also fails the Flexibility Test: refund (Section 5).

8. Automatic Transferability — Zero Paperwork

Your Genesis Roof Revive warranty transfers automatically to the next owner of your home for the unexpired portion of the term. You do not need to:

  • File a form,
  • Pay a transfer fee,
  • Call us,
  • Include anything in your closing documents.

Just leave a copy of your Pre-Treatment Inspection Report and this warranty in the home for the next owner — or hand them to your real-estate agent. That's it.

If the new owner wants a clean transfer certificate for their records, they can request one for free at claims@genesisroofrevive.com and we'll issue it within 7 business days.

9. Service Level Agreements — And What Happens If We Miss Them

We publish our own deadlines, and we hold ourselves accountable to them.

The corporate-accountability clause. If Genesis Roof Revive or our Certified Applicator misses any one of the deadlines above during your claim — and the delay is not caused by you, the weather, or a documented act of God — you are automatically entitled to the prorated refund in Section 5, without further inspection, argument, or paperwork. You simply email us a copy of the dated correspondence showing the missed deadline, and we pay.

We put this in writing because we believe we'll hit the deadlines. If we don't, you shouldn't have to fight us about it.

10. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

We are deliberately honest about this list, because a rejuvenator has real limits and pretending otherwise is how other companies in this category lose their credibility.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Hail, wind, ice, fallen limbs, lightning, fire, earthquakes, or other acts of nature. Those are homeowner's-insurance events, not product events.
  • Active leaks, flashing failures, or structural / decking issues. Our product rejuvenates asphalt shingles; it does not re-engineer a roof.
  • Manufacturer defects in the shingles themselves. Those are covered by your shingle manufacturer's warranty, not by us.
  • Damage caused by third parties — satellite installers, HVAC workers, solar contractors, other roofers — walking on or working on the roof after our treatment.
  • Damage from foot traffic, animals, chemical exposure, or pressure washing on the treated roof.
  • Granule loss on its own, as distinct from loss of flexibility (granule loss is a shingle-manufacturer matter and a pre-existing condition documented in Section 6).
  • Any roof that did not pass the Pre-Treatment Inspection or where product was applied by someone other than a Certified Genesis Roof Revive Applicator.
  • Cosmetic concerns — appearance, color variation, streaking, sheen — that do not affect shingle flexibility.
  • Consequential damages — lost rental income, interior damage, temporary housing, etc. This warranty's total remedies are limited to the re-treatment and prorated refund described above.
